Ensuring Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Long-Term Success

When individuals include Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine in their estate plans, they help to ensure that we can continue our mission for years to come. We invite you to join today!

Offering a Helping Hand to the Future

When Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine was founded, our work was thought to be an emergency response to a temporary need. Now, over 40 years later, we know that, unfortunately, the issue of hunger persists and our work will remain of critical importance to the health and well-being of Mainers.

Historically, we've asked our donors to support our work with cash gifts that could be put to work immediately to help address the urgent needs of Mainers struggling with hunger.

Over the years many have included Good Shepherd Food Bank in their wills and other estate plans and more than $4 million has been received from these thoughtful individuals. This support has made a significant impact on our work and the stability of the organization.

As we embark on the next phase of our work and seek investments from our community, we see the transformational potential that wills and estate plans can have.

If we're fortunate enough to be included in your planning, let us know so we can recognize you as a member of our JoAnn Pike Legacy Society.
